Homeopathy for Accidents and Minor Illnesses - A Practical Introduction

Venue: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
This short course will run on two Saturdays at 31 St Hilda's Rd. Harrogate. Sessions will start at 10am and finish at 4pm. Cost: £80.
The sessions will be very informal with plenty of time for questions and discussion. Subjects covered will include: A brief history of Homeopathy, case taking and selection of remedy, how to aid recovery from accidents, injuries and minor ailments with Homeopathy. Illnesses include colds, influenza, coughs, diarrheoa and vomiting etc.
The course book, 'The Complete Homeopathy Handbook' by Miranda Castro, is recommended as we will be using this text to learn how to choose the most appropriate homeopathic remedy for the symptoms presented. The book is very user friendly and an essential text for anyone wanting to prescribe accurately for self- limiting ailments.
There is a 36 Helios Homeopathic Remedy Kit available to buy which is very good value for money. All the remedies can be used for most injuries and minor ailments. You may order the book and kit in advance of the course if you wish to.
There will be drinks available throughout the day. Please bring a packed lunch.

Introductory Courses
Introductory courses are usually delivered over two days with 4 weeks between each day. This is so that participants can consolidate learning from the first day. Evening Courses can be arranged according to demand.
The aim of the introductory course is to enable participants to fully understand the principles of homeopathic case taking. This is important in order to choose the correct homeopathic remedy to aid recovery in short-term ailments. Examples of subjects covered include accidents and injuries, colds, coughs and flu, diarrhoea and vomiting.
We will discuss the importance of seeking advice from a medical practitioner where necessary and there is a section in the text relating to safe self-prescribing.
